Hi, we are trying to test a web based application. While recording, in one of the screens, we are getting partner.exe error and silktest closes down.
It happens when we select an item from a list box and click the modify button to re-populate the list item back to the text boxes.
For eg, we have 2 text boxes > fill them up and click the button "Add". The entries in the text fields get entered into a List box within a single line item. Now select the line item within the list box and click the button "Modify". This should re-populate the entries in the line item back to the 2 textboxes. But on clicking the "Modify" button, we get an error 'partner.exe has genereted some errors....'
Can anyone help in solving this problem please?
We cannot skip this step as it is mandatory to modify the list item and proceed ahead.
If you are gonna use the recorder, sometimes I've noticed that you can save just before the crashes (which are numerous and inexplicable but in my case they seem relate to runtime settings, etc.). Try selecting save all before closing the recorder window and don't record the step that causes the crash. Then you can restart SilkTest and your code is there for you to 'fiddle with manually'. You may even be able to restart recording afterwards if you really, really want to use it.

You have a very bad inc file or problem with your code. I have been seeing specially with Silk 6.0 and not with any other version of silk.
Cant tell you what exact problem my be, but you should start all over again, probably bring back the incs and t files to the state before u started seeing this.
There might me duplicate windows declaration etc...but surely the problem with the code...
