I am new to using features of Dll in silkscripting
i tried to open the dll files in silk by using
visual studio and some third party tools , but unsuccesfull.
Also the documentation provided by seague doesnt describe of all those functions available in a dll.
So can anyone assist me here , please.
Thanks in advance
The functions available in a .dll are dependent on the .dll. Whatever functions are exposed are what you will have available to you. Here is an example of a dll call in Segue.
</font><blockquote><font size="1" face="Verdana, Arial, Helvetica">code:</font><hr /><pre style="font-size:x-small; font-family: monospace;">[-] dll "kernel32.dll"
[ ] DWORD GetFileAttributes (LPCSTR lpszFileName) alias "GetFileAttributesA"
[ ] BOOL SetFileAttributes (LPCSTR lpszFileName, DWORD dwFileAttributes) alias "SetFileAttributesA"
[ ] BOOL GetFileTime (LONG hFile, out FILETIME lpCreationTime optional, out FILETIME lpLastAccessTime optional, out FILETIME lpLastWriteTime optional)
[ ] BOOL FileTimeToSystemTime (in FILETIME lpFileTime, out SYSTEMTIME lpSystemTime)
[ ] BOOL FileTimeToLocalFileTime (in FILETIME lpFileTime, out FILETIME lpLocalFileTime)</pre><hr /></blockquote><font size="2" face="Verdana, Arial, Helvetica">
You'll need some sort of documentation from the developer of the dll. If it is a in house dll, ask the developer. If it is a 3rd party dll, get it from them. The internet is always a good source of information. I know there is some sort of command line command to get what functions have been exposed in a dll and I can't remember what that is. Anyway, that wont explain anything other than the function name.
