SilkTest 6.5 and HtmlLink objects - No WindowID
For those of you chomping at the bit to download and use 6.5 for the hope that it'll fix problems you've been having with HtmlTable methods....
Well, there's a pretty huge issue in it. HtmlLink objects no longer have Window ID tags available to them. So, if you've already got a ton of HtmlLink objects that are using Window ID tags, well, SilkTest will no longer be able to find them.
Just thought you'd like to know. I have to go back to 6.0.3. Or re-do a couple thousand declarations. And there are a lot of 'em that I have to use ID for.
A concerned Borland customer, a fly in the ointment, a wrench in the works.
Re: SilkTest 6.5 and HtmlLink objects - No WindowID
There's a newer build that is available for download now that our Segue reps said that should take care of this problem.
You wouldn't think that Segue QA would let this kind of problem go by, right? Maybe they did see and reported this problem but, management
decided to release it anyway...hmmmm sounds very familiar to me
