This works for me in PHP (flags is a decimal):
$output = sprintf("%b", flags)
$output is now a string, but I can easily 'use it as binary'.
In SilkTest, this works:
but not this:
There is a little discussion in the SilkTest helpabout using 0b to prefix binary numbers (I guess in order to convert them to decimal).
I am just trying to avoid a bit of busy work. If anyone has a trick, please let me know.

The conversion isn't necessary. I forgot that I can just do bitwise masking on decimal values directly... doh!
How do you do the bitwise masking? I'm at a loss.
