VBA Screen with SilkTest
I've got a pop-up window in Excel that was coded with VBA. All Silk sees is multiple CustomWins. Is there an extention I need to enable or something for Silk to pick up the controls in the window?
Re: VBA Screen with SilkTest
I am dealing with the same situation, and to date I have not been able to find anyway to get SilkTest to recognize the controls on these VBA forms. :-(
If you need to be able to click a button to just dismiss a dialog or advance through a wizard accepting all the defaults, I would recommend including the control in the declaration and use the coordinates as the tag. This way, you can at least interact with the control without having hard coded locations in your function and/or script.
I have found no way to get the data from controls; i.e. TextFields, Dropdowns, etc.
If I ever discover anything I will let you know.
