Recently I tried out the Results Repository implementation that comes with SilkTest. I am not using the default recovery system, and thus I anticipated difficulties, but... after including logresults.inc into my options, my code would no longer execute (compiled fine, though). I played around a bit, commenting out much of logresults.inc to try and pinpoint a problem... to no avail. I gave up and removed the reference to logresults.inc and my code still wouldn't execute! What in the heck? Has anyone ever seen this (or something like it) before? Is there any way to rectify it? (besides uninstalling and reinstalling silktest... which does fix it, by the way)
Also, has anyone ever used their Results Repository without using defaultbasestate, etc.?
Yes, I have a MainWindow Declared. No defaultBaseState. I have never tried the results logging with STI and I'm unable to use SP2 of anything due to a bug in that version. I've been using SP1 for a while.
I have seen the problem with code not executing though. I can't remember if it was STI or not. I think it was resolved simply by exiting Silk and coming back in. But I could be wrong.
For now I have decided to give up on trying to include logresults.inc. I am currently trying to move all my code from ST to STI and plan to revisit logging afterwards. For now I have to change every agent on every image I have saved... yeah!
