Browser compatibility scripts

Hi
I want to make the script, which can able to run for available browsers(IE, Netscape). How I can approach for this...? I tried a sample script for both IE and Netscape and I found that frame will be captured separately for both the browsers.

Any other ideas.....
Thanks & Regards,
Palani.

Re: Browser compatibility scripts

Check up for "Gui Specifiers" on the forum and in the Silktest help . You do not need to have seperate frame files - but seperate specifiers
in the same frame file.

Cheers!

<font size="2" face="Verdana, Arial, Helvetica">Thanks aathish. Now I'm having only one frame file, which will use by both IE and Netscape. Also I'm doing some slight changes to support both the browsers.
Thanks & Regards,
Palani.

Re: Browser compatibility scripts

Hi,
I want to tell two important things.
1. You have to prepare the frame, which can be able to identify by both the browsers.
Example: IE recognize one control as HtmlLink and at the same time, Netscape recognizes that control as HtmlHeading.

2. Sometimes, we have to use if-else according to browsers. Take the above example.

Any other things need to get compatibility....?
Thanks & Regards,
Palani.
