verify object property

I need to check if the push button is enabled or not when a parameter is passed to the field previous to it.
e.g. after entering the quantity, Calculate button should get enabled.

I want to pass the value of quantity field at runtime.
How to do that?
Any Inputs?

Re: verify object property

MyButton.IsEnabled() should give you what you want. Check before setting the value in the preceding textfield. Should be false. Set your value and check IsEnabled() again. Should be true.

How to do that?

Re: verify object property

During playback of the script, I want to pass the value of the variable.
e.g. It should prompt to enter the value of say, a and b for calculating the sum.

1) Are you doing a record - playback?
2) Do you want a "prompt" the user to enter the value of "a and b" when the script runs or do u want to enter some predifined set of data into these fields?

Lastly it isnt a very good idea if you want the script to prompt you to set a value. Automation as such should be done in such a way that the script runs unmanned.
