java custom objects dealing
hi while doing the automation of the java application i got one custom object which is actually a table with column header, sub column, fields it is recognising header as one custm, sub as second, field data as third custom object how do i map it so that i can use it properly where for indivisual cell i can get even it's colour and text and data in corresponding cell in some row. and how do i add some methods to that class.
Re: java custom objects dealing
I'm assuming Silk is able to see most of your Java App just fine, but doesn't recognize these specific objects.
It's been a very long time(years) since I've encountered a situation like this, so this is vague, but will get you something to try.
With your application invoked, use Record/Class and hover your mouse over the unrecognized objects. Check "show all classes" and "show all methods." Look at the recorder and see if it is showing you the Java Package that contains those objects. Capture that class and place it in your frame file. Now, uncheck show all classes, and show all methods. With that recording in your frame file, Record Window Declarations again on that object and see if Silk can recognize it now.
If memory serves correctly, you have a very good shot at recognizing the table and its elements now.
