Sometimes my scripts getting failure to clik link in HtmlTable. Without giving or using table name, can we able to click a table-link?
Assume that you are in page1. Link a1 is in htmltable mytable and column is title. I have to give the code like,
page1.mytable.title.a1.click() - Instead of this, can I give any other statement like
Is it possible?
Thanks & Regards,
Re: Table Links
Yes, you can. You'll have to build the parent (table and colum) tags into the tag of the HtmlLink object.
For example, if the tag of the HtmlTable is "Clients" and the tag of the column is "Account No." you could name the the tag of the link "/[HtmlTable]Clients/[HtmlColumn]Account No./Test Account"
If you don't already have it enabled, go into the Compatibility tab in Agent Options and turn "Add 'Window Tags' to record menu." Use that to find the lineage of your object.
