    How to activate an IE browserchild

    Hi folks,
    In my system, I've opened two browsers with different titles. All windows are minimized.
    I want to acivate one of the browsers. I have given the below code to activate browserchild...But it is not working.

    ####################
    [-] if (BrowserPage.Exists(20))
    [ ] BrowserPage.SetActive ()
    [ ] Browser.Maximize()
    ####################
    Pls Give me solution for that...

    Try recording the window declartion of both brower & browserchild. Call the child window in the if statement referncing the declartion. Hope that helps.

    Hi,
    Assume that I don't know the title of the browsers.
    My scenario is, test script will utilize the browser, if any browser window is available in the taskbar. Otherwise it will open a new browser window.

    When you say "It's not working.." what do you mean? Do you get an error?

    Hi,
    It is not working means, Browser window is not getting active state or focus. It can identify the existing browser window..but couldn't activate... Hope I clear the scenario..

    I've had troubles where Silk cannot recognize two windows of the same type (i.e. two command windows) it says that there is a duplicate window and gets confused as to the window in which you want your actions to be performed. Do both open (minimized) browsers have the same name? ("about:blank - Microsoft Internet Explorer")

    Hi,
    It may be same or not. For your pbm, you have to set the agent option of Unique identification to FALSE.
