    Questions from a SilkTest newbie

Please bear with me as I'm new to SilkTest and come from a WinRunner background.

I'm having some trouble with SilkTest recognizing different tabs in my application. From my base state, I would like to switch from the 'base'tab to other tabs, and then back to the 'base' tab. The problem is that I might be able to switch to another tab, but I won't be able to go back to the original tab.

here's what I'm trying to do

    Myapp.PageList1.Select ("tab1")
    do something
    Myapp.PageList1.Select ("tab2")
    do something
    Myapp.PageList1.Select ("tab1")
    ^
This last statement always gives me errors and tells me Myapp not found and blah blah blah.

    How can I fix this?

If anything is unclear, please let me know
    Any suggestions is appreciated. Thanks.

A closer look at your window declaration could help here.

Also include the exact blah blah blah error text. It could be helpful as well.

Re: Questions from a SilkTest newbie

I realized that each tab was considered a different dialogbox box, so I had to refer to other tabs respective to which tab I was currently in.

    Hope that makes sense.
