I have recently started(2 hours) playing around with SilkPerfomer, However I'm not much of a person who knows how to write scripts and I have to pick this up quick. Could any of you suggest a good book which may help me understand this scripting language.I've already used the help docs that come with it but I was wondering if there was anything else.
Re: SILK SCRIPTS
Are you wanting help with Performer, or with SilkTest? If Performer, there is a forum here specific to that tool.
If SilkTest, I suggest a few things for starters:
1. Just start using the tool to automate something. Write a script to manipulate Notepad or the calculator. Learn how the scripts are laid out.
2. Read the code others have written. It is a great way to learn. If there is none in-house where you are working, dig through this forum and go to the downloads section. You'll find quite a bit of code to read through.
3. Spend time in the Help Menu - Library Browser and help index.
