    Identification of dynamic objects

    Hi,
In my application, the linkname is not a standard one. It will be changing dynamically to the appropriate inputs. Assume that it will give link as "test1 first user", if I give data as "test1". I want to test for multiple data. How can I do...?
Anybody facing this kind of problems...?

    From Niranjan.....
Yes you can... multitag statements in your inc file can be combined into a
single tag with an "|" (logical OR)

    if you have a recording
    window DialogBox MyDialog
    [] TextField TF1
    []multitag "My Caption"
    "$1645"
    "#3"

and you are not sure of the textfields caption, use the statement:

    MyDialog.TextField ("My Caption|$1645|#3").SetText("YourInput")

In the above case if the caption and the window id do not match the input
will be set into the textfield having the index 3

    Re: Identification of dynamic objects

You can handle dynamic strings using *,?...

In ur case, if i/p="test1" then o/p="test1 first user".

    Replace o/p="* first user".

I hope this will solve ur problem.
