    Tags changing on the fly.

Before I wanted to post this problem I ran through the previously submitted problems, but really did not find a working solution. If anyone has had this issue before, please advise.

The Problems is to handle the Dynamically changing Tag id, the object, which is not recognized, is a BorwserChild object.

The code looks something like this:
    [-] BrowserChild outer
    [ ] tag "C4859HB_MASTER_OF_HB_HIPBONE"
    [-] BrowserChild inner
    [ ] tag "C4859HB_LOCATIONBAR_OF_HB_HIPBONE"
    [+] HtmlMeta Pragma
    [+] multitag "Pragma"
    [ ] "#2"
    [ ] "$no-cache"
    [+] HtmlMeta Expires
    [+] multitag "Expires"
    [ ] "#1"
    [ ] "$0000"
    [-] BrowserChild SignOnToTheCommercialElec
[ ] tag "Sign On to the Commercial Electronic Office"
    [+] HtmlMeta Expires
    [+] multitag "Expires"

In the above excerpt, the tag "C4859HB_MASTER_OF_HB_HIPBONE” changes on the fly to
    "CXXXHB_MASTER_OF_HB_HIPBONE".

    Should I use a “*”…?

As long as it is always the same three digits changing, try using:

    C???HB_MASTER_OF_HB_HIPBONE

What is the problem in putting the wild chars in the tag. If your problem is to uniqly idetify the window even though with Wild chars, use tag with some unique idetifier.

    For example you could use:

    BroserChild Outer
    tag "[BrowserChild]*HB_MASTER_OF_HB_HIPBONE\[HtmlMeta]Some Unique\.."
    --Seshu

Re: Tags changing on the fly.

    Thanks for the suggestions.
While at it, I just realized that, I had the Index id which was unique to that particular frame, so for the time being just to get the thing done, I used the Index as the tag information tag "C4859HB_MASTER_OF_HB_HIPBONE" , in place of this, I used
tag "#1", though the Caption changes all the time for the object in question the index apparently never changed.
