Any body having problems with Silktest 6PS1 with GUI TESTING?

    Hi,

I am having some weird problems of using Silktest 6 SP1 with Java GUI testing. It sometimes can not pick the submenu items for example, Menu Item "Topology -> Node -> Add"
it couldn't pick up submenu Item "Add", SilkTest 5.5 SP3 works fine. However, when I run my previous scripts, I observed that there is some weird mouse movement during it selecting or clicking something. Is anybody know the way how to fix these problems?

    Thanks,
    Hiep

    Thanks John,
I did try what you've told me to do, but I am still having this kind of problem.

    Some ideas:

    1. Make certain that you are running the SP1 versions of silktest_java?.jar files where ever they may have been copied to with the previous releases.

    2. Delete all previous versions of .to and .ino files prior to running with a newer version of Silk. Then restart Silk since it retains copies in memory.

In both cases, strange things can happen when inadvertently running older versions with newer Silk code.

We do face such kind of problem with the menu items often.
Verify whether Silk recognises the menu object at that moment in debug or manual mode.
If it is no recognising, maximise and restore the screen and then give a try.

Also verify whether the objects are still in loading phase at the action phase.
