anyone use/have 4test style guidelines or coding standards to improve readability

As I am creating all my test script files, I am thinking there has to be some reference or guideline for creating more readable code.

I look at the code, and each window seems to have a huge block of related code -- several functions along with a good number of objects.

Do anyone have a style guideline or coding standard they follow? Is is just a matter of adding spacing and better indentation? Is there a good reference book?

    Thanks.

Good question. For something really complete I recommend a book called Writing Solid Code. Since 4Test is very similar to C in many respects, the coding guidelines in this book make a lot of sense.

Funny you would respond with that book.

I had done a google search trying to find resources.

As part of that search, http://www.ameliortech.com/stuff/boo...at.asp?cat=Dev was included in the results. And you obviously know that "Writing Solid Code" has a reference to 4Test.
