Unable to see first item in an HtmlList
I am testing an embedded browser control in an MCF app. I am using SilkTest 5.5.3 with IE6 DOM for Internet Explorer and my AUT (created a new ext).
Recording Window Declarations gives me something like the following:
Using the above as an example, when I perform "Record Window Identifiers" everything is recognized except "Item1" within the HtmlList. In the HTML, this list is within a <ul> tag.
My co-worker, another SilkTest Engineer, ran into this problem before and found that adding another <ul> tag right above the existing one solves this problem. That's fine except that changes the formatting of the list.
If anyone knows of a way I can get around this through Silk (rather than messing with the HTML code), I would be most appreciative.
Re: Unable to see first item in an HtmlList
With SilkTest 22.214.171.124,
this missing first item in the HtmlList object is coming back.
It is easy to see if you have HtmlList object with single item.
Do the Window declaration on the HtmlList.
You will not see the item text in the window declaration.
But, if you have two items in the same HtmlList and do the Window declaration, you will see both items in the window declaration.
