    Referencing option file from a command line

    I have multiple AUTs on lab machines, each using itís own set of declarations. These declaration differences are easily handled using option files. However, I will have several people running the scripts who are not familiar with SilkTest (or any form of automated testing tool) and would not be comfortable changing setting (even one, the option file) within the SilkTest GUI. Is there a way I can set up a command line launch the references the correct option file?

    Re: Referencing option file from a command line

    another suggestion ... For running command line you could do something like this:

    partner -q -opt c:\automation\option_sets\option_set1.opt -resexport -resextract -r c:\automation\plan\acceptance.pln

    ===============

    put that in a batch file and give it a name for the AUT under test. You can then create more batch files just changing -opt switch and the -r switch for each AUT under test.
