In an effort to save license costs is it possible to run the same scripts on both ST and STI? Are tags declared in the same fashion in both applications? Any comments by folks who have tried this are much appreciated.
I'm evaluating STI right now. Have run quite a few tests on STI that I normally run on ST and have not had any problems. Declarations and everything are the same. The only problem you will encounter is if you have had to save any files in unicode format. ST will not read these files. In which case, you'll have to maintain 2 separate libraries and .t files.

I am able to run scripts created with STI with ST. The only thing that is different is that ST can't perform the verifications of the double-byte characters. We are able to use ST to test the single byte character sets using the same scripts that we use to test the double-byte character sets using STI. Hope this helps.
