    Problem with FileReadValue

Has anyone experienced the problem where I am getting an error message. Unexpected end of file when doing a FileReadValue. All I have done is do a FileWriteValue on the 4test structure. Note: I have embedded structures with in the structure. Here is the example of structure I am trying to write to

    Re: Problem with FileReadValue

Deja vu. This is an ancient problem.
Silk's output was (and still is?) size-limited - around 30K if I recall correctly.

FileWriteValue() truncates the output at that size and doesn't complain about it, but FileReadValue sure will. Use a Print(Len("{your record}")) to verify this assertion.

I'd report this one to Support along with example code to prove it. (They are much more responsive these days.)

A work-around is to write the information out in far smaller pieces.

    John
