Silktest bug database?
Is there a way to find out the status of bugs in Silktest? Looking at another message it sounds like I'm running into bug 68166 (getchildren/getcontents doesn't return the full list).
But, everything on the website is account driven. We had such poor experience with the responsiveness of Segue's support that we dropped our support contract. But it seems like you should still be able to file bugs and look at status, even if you can't get someone to help you personally.
Re: Silktest bug database?
I think that all of us have complained about this. We rack our brains and when we finally call Segue, it turns out it is a "known issue" -- yet they don't make their known issues publicly available (a few are mentioned in the release notes).
A warning -- as far your company's cancelling the Segue "support" contract -- you may find that it does you no good in the long run !
If, at any time in the future, your company wants to upgrade SilkTest -- Segue will make you pay up "support" back to the first day it was not renewed. They do not care that you could not actually use support during that time.
i.e. -- Segue will not let you "turn on" and "turn off" their "support". They should call it an "annual license renewal fee" to be more accurate -- but their marketing people know that customers do not like that and it would make their sales pitch more difficult.
Hence -- Segue's "support" -- which really isn't.
