    Copatibility with MAC

I want to write test scripts to run them on all versions of Windows and MAC operating system. Please let me know Silk can be installed on MAC. If so what kind of changes I will have to make to port the things from Windows to MAC.

SilkTest is not available for the MAC platform. You may want to try www.redstonesoftware.com for a MAC testing tool.

    Re: Copatibility with MAC

Last that I heard, Segue would sell you a very old version of "QAPartner" -- that was once Mac compatable. I am not sure if it works with the latest version of the MacOS, however.

Another possibility is that with OSX on the Mac -- you might be able to use SilkBean as your Agent. But -- it is not officially supported.

I wonder if anyone has even tried it yet ?

    Re: Copatibility with MAC

I spoke with the CEO of redstone and he says that Eggplant can actually automate any OS/Platform as long as the controller is a MAC. so you can automate both Linux and Windows from a MAC!

    Wow! I gotta see that!

    Rob,

I think you would be limited to Java apps if you used the bean. Is that accurate????

I would like to not be blatantly commercial, but I've love to show you Eggplant at MacWorld or send you an eval copy. We support testing on all platforms from a Mac base.
