using symbols in my test plan

I am using symbols in my testplan (i.e. $Server = "myserver". I pass this symbol as an argument to my test case and it works just fine...Testcase: tc1($Server). However, when the test completes and my result file prints it prints tc1($Server) even though it passed it the value. Instead I am looking for a way to print out the value of the symbol such as tc1("myserver") or any way at all to print this value so that I can confirm the correct value was used. Any ideas?

Try sticking this line into the top of each testcase:

    John
