    I bet you it is:
    Window DialogBox DialogBox1
    tag "#1"

    That is correct
    [-] window DialogBox DialogBox1
    [ ] tag "#1"

    Why?

    Why?
    <HR></BLOCKQUOTE>

Because the use of "#1" in the tag tells Silk to use the first instance of class DialogBox that it sees.

When you run the first test, Silk either:

    1. releases input focus to the previously active application - as it you pressed Alt-Shift-Tab. In your case it saw the desktop.

    2. OR it will take your direction from a SetActive() command and place input focus there.

#1 is too general an identifier to use in many cases because you've in essence indicated to Silk that your subsequent code will work with any instance it might encounter.

    <HR></BLOCKQUOTE>

    1. Replace the tag "#1" with the text string that matches the caption of the dialogbox.

    2. Compile the code using Run/Compile All.

    3. Open Record/Identifier. Slowly move the mouse cursor over the dialogbox caption to make sure that Silk shows the name that you assigned to that dialogbox.

Step 1 identifies a specific, unique instance of dialogbox. Step 2 tells Silk what to look for. Step 3, ensures that what you and Silk see are exactly the same thing.
