    How to change the states

Hi..I am testing SIEBEL package and I use SilkTest6.0. First I open a siebel.exe and the username and password, but once logged in it takes you to Browser.
So, to continue testing in the browser, it does not allow, because I have to select IEDom in Enabler. If I have selected this then I am not able to open the exe at first.

Please someone give me solution for it.
First I need open the exe and then have to switch over to browser.

see if agent.setoption helps, you could playaround with OPT_EXTENSIONS option.

We tried using the setoptions for OPT_EXTENSIONS but could not set the extensions at runtime. Could you specify the exact List Of String for setting the extensions for using IE DOM.

Re: How to change the states

I apologize....i misled you on that, for agent OPT_EXTENSIONS you can only read/getoption and cannot setoption. i'm really not sure if you could switch extensions between client/server and web testing during runtime...i believe you would need extension to even compile. a suggestion would be to invoke the exe through the command line(SYS_Execute) and keep the browser settings....let me know what you come up with

Re: How to change the states

    Hi gram...
As suggested by you and also by my friend..I have got a round about way to do this. First set the extension as IE DOM. Get the exe declarations in the frame and invoke it, at the same time close the browser, since it gets invoked automatically.

Re: How to change the states

Is there any option to set/change the extensions at runtime?
