Testing Multiple Concurrent Java Applications
Has anyone been able to test multiple Java applications running on a single remote Agent
system from a single SilkTest host?
I read where you can test multiple applications on a single target from multiple hosts, but not from a single host.
Also, where you can test multiple applications on multiple target systems from
a single host.
I just don't see the combination I need. No information on starting multiple Agents using different ports or if I could a way to target the specific Agent and port on the single remote target machine.
OK I have been able to do this using a "multitest" function to call my testcases that are in an .inc file rather than a .t file. I used the multitest example and just set the machine to always be the same machine. Of course, I had to use a "semaphore" in the different testcases to pass control amongst them. But this does simulate a single user switching between multiple applications running on a single machine.
