Using pointers in windows API SendMessage()

    Hi,

I am currently working with a custom grid control that Silk Test has many problems interacting with. One solution I am trying is to develop a SendMessage(hWnd, message, wParam, lParam) format so that I can send windows messages to the control, and the developers can write code to interact with my messages. Does anybody know how to create pointers to standard C datatypes using Silk Test commands that I can use in SendMessage?

    - NOTE: I read the User's Manual portion on sending pointers to DLL's, but this doesn't seem to work for SendMessage (since it expects type WPARAM AND LPARAM - unsigned int). Is there an address of operator or anything similar in Silk?

Beware of bugs in the above code; I have only proved it correct, not tried it.

as far as i know there are no pointers in ST, usually strings are used instead. the LPARAM and WPARAM are declared in the mswtype.inc.
