How to automate \"extracting result files\"

I am able to extract a result file to a file using the GUI. For example, I run a test that creates an ifs.res file. From the GUI, I extract ifs.res to ifs.txt and I'm able to view the contents of this file on my Windows system that does not have Silktest installed. Is there a way to automate this process with Silktest? In other words, upon the completion of a run, how can I automate the extracting of a result file in Silktest using Silktest since the *.res file is not created and opened until the run is completed?

Create a ScriptExit() and place ResExportOnClose() in it.

Re: How to automate \"extracting result files\"

I run the tests from a batch file and have used the resexportonclose in the script and then the batch file calls the my result processing script which converts the text file into html and adds the summary.

    batch file

    runt the test -r resexportonclose
    run the result processing file

Could you provide an example of how the batch file works for Silk?
