How to make silk 5.5 recognize Add/Remove programs on Wk2k
I am testing install/uninstall fucntionality. The problem is that, Add/Remove program window is recognized as a Dialog box on Windows 2000, and the list of software is not recognized at all. I want to uninstall a software as part of my testing.
How can i use Add/Remove programs properly, or is there another way to uninstall softwares

Look in the Windows Registry with regedit:
Here you'll find the key for the program that you want to uninstall from add/remove menu. Most programs have an uninstall string and you can use SYS_Execute to run the string.
Now this pops up your uninstaller dialog, so write the automation to interact with the uninstall program and you're done!
For example, on my system there is a registry key in this location for Adobe Acrobat 5.0.
In the key there is a string value UninstallString with this for contents:
If I run this string it pops up an uninstall dialog.
