    Overlapping a grid

HI, I've got a control sush as a button, but I want to overlap a Grid to pinpoint "hot spot". Well, I want to be able to separate my button into different cell (grid like). Can anyone help me?

    Re: Overlapping a grid

You can start with the GetRect method.

    Re: Overlapping a grid

Yeah I know that I can use GetRect, I'm already using this, but I heard that there's a feature in Silktest

    Quotes:
feature to overlay a logical grid of X rows by Y columns on a graphic that has
    evenly spaced “hot spots".
    From:SILKTEST AND INRUNNER FEATURE DESCRIPTIONS

Now I would like to know if anyone as done this using that feature, which I do not know??

    Thanks anyway,

    Re: Overlapping a grid

The "Location" type tag does this.

I do not use these very often, but there are times that they a indispensable.
Location tags assume that the locations are evenly spaced in the parent object.

You can specify both the Row and Column in the grid at which you want to Click().

See the SilkTest online help topic "Supporting graphical controls" for examples.
