how to check mark beside item in list box

Hi,
This could be very primitive question. I have two listboxes A and B along with Two Push Buttons Add & Remove.
I donot have any problem with identifying contents in list box and list box components.

Once I select an item in list box A and add it to the list box B, a check mark will be appeared beside the item in List Box A. I couldn't figure out the way to verify the existense of checkmark.

Thanks for the help,
Murali

Try a ListPrint of a ListBoxA.GetContents() to see if the check marks shows up.

Try Record/Tag to see if Silk can see the checkmark.

Also try out this bCheckState = ListBoxA.Item1.IsChecked ()
True = checked, False = UnChecked.

Let us know.

Without knowing more about your app, it is difficult to know if this will work for you, but I had a similar situation in the past where the checkmark showed up as a declared object in my include file. With that, the Exists() method became a valid means of looking for it.

If it's actually a ListView and not a ListBox, you can try GetItemImageState()

Re: how to check mark beside item in list box

Hi Friends,
First of all this is List Box only.
I couldn't use the IsChecked() as it is expecting a window such as menu/checkbox.
I checked the ListPrint and GetItemText and check marks were not appeared.
there is no change in window declaration after check mark appeared. So I am unlucky in that. Anymore suggestions.

Following is the window declaration:
[-] DialogBox QuickEntrySheets
[-] multitag "QuickEntry Sheets"
[ ] "$0"
[+] ListBox AvailableQuickEntrySheets
[+] multitag "Available QuickEntry Sheets:"
[ ] "^Available QuickEntry Sheets:"
[ ] "#1"
[ ] "$23597"
[+] PushButton Add
[+] multitag "Add ->"
[ ] "#1"
[ ] "$23595"
[+] PushButton Remove
[+] multitag "<- Remove"
[ ] "#2"
[ ] "$23596"
[+] ListBox SelectedQuickEntrySheets
[+] multitag "Selected QuickEntry Sheets:"
[ ] "^Selected QuickEntry Sheets:"
[ ] "#2"
[ ] "$23598"

Thank you for the help,
Murali

Try to get the ImageIndex. This should return the ID of the image that is being used. We had a control in our app that used different images for the checked and un-checked boxes.
