    \"verify\" command

    Can the Verify command be used in such a way that it ignores the white space difference if any.

    Don't bother.. I learnt new commands like the LTrim and the RTrim that I am using to remove the spaces

    Your original queston illustrates well the very reason I ignore a number of the built-in verifications routines. My opinion is that you're much better off coding your own verification and in doing so, implimentin whatever restrictions you see necessary.

    yeah, we have our own verifydiff function that points to a filter file. The filter file will ignore certain lines that MatchStr is true on. I use matchstr so I can put wildcards in my filter. This is handy for output files that specify the data and time.

    I'm sure you know this but just to be more certain .. if you are using Ltrim and Rtrim to strip the string of leading and trailing spaces sure can use Trim () alone. It does both
