Adding a record to an Access database

I've linked a test case database to Silk 5.5.3 and I do updates and so using ODBC. But not being a SQL person I need help. Exactly I need to append a new record like all the others in a table so I can then update it using data derived from the test case and data from an excell file.
I just need the query stmt.
    thanks

Re: Adding a record to an Access database

Without any knowledge of your access database, it's hard to give you the SQL. Basically, you want to use an INSERT statement to add a record, or an UPDATE statement to change a record.

I recommend working/experimenting with Access to build the SQL you need, then you can just put that into your scripts.
