    Help Needed Regarding Class Mapping

    User vinod_arappath (vinod_arappath@yahoo.co.in.nospam) posted:

    hi all,
i know mapping is used when silktest couldn't capture certain window
    objects correctly.
    My doubt is,
    1. If i map a particular customwin object to a particular class, say
htmlimage, do all the subsequent customwin recordings will be mapped
    to the same htmlimage object?
Will I be able to mapp different customwinobjects to different
    classes?
    2. Another clarification, in a page where it is having an animated
image, the whole page is recorded as customwin declaration. The
    objects are not categorically declared.
I want to click on the animated image only..
    How can i do that???
    regards
    vinod.

Re: Help Needed Regarding Class Mapping

You don't have to map all objects of that class. Instead of using the ClassMap dialogbox (which WILL map all objects of a given class to another class) you could create another Winclass and derive it from that class that you want to class map the single instance to. Then just change the CustomClass name to the name of the new class you created.
