Case insensitive SQL query from within Silk Test
I'm trying to check some DB filtering results from within Silk Test. I'm having trouble trying to track down information on how to make a case insensitive SQL query from Silk (the tool we are testing is filtering case insensitive).
My SQL statement looks like:
Select Text from DATABASE_TABLE_NAME where (ucase(Text) not like ucase('%200%')) And (ucase(Text) like ucase('%600%'))
When I try and run it, I see an error:
(ucase(Text) not like ucase<< ??? >>('%200%'))
Any answers or leads to documentation appreciated.
Re: Case insensitive SQL query from within Silk Test
As ever, if you're getting errors back from your odbc driver when executing a sql query, the best thing to do is to try the same sql query in a standalong query tool (e.g. odbctest, or sqlplus) to track down what's wrong with your query; then when you've got that sorted, you can go and sort out your silktest script to generate the right query.
