    Re: Can Bubble Help Text Strings be Captured?

    How about diff'ing the return values of a GetChildren() call with the bubble exposed and not exposed?

    This is how I exposed ToolTip and popup menu instances in a Java application. Some objects like the tool tip - and possibly your bubble - are dynamic in that they won't appear in a usual Record/Declarations capture.

    Can Bubble Help Text Strings be Captured?

    Is there a way to capture the String in a Bubble Help Box on a Browser Page?

    Re: Can Bubble Help Text Strings be Captured?

    Good idea John, I tried to GetChildren from the Browser, ChildWin, and Desktop but it didn't work. I did figure out a way though. If I View Source of the Page and then can find the text of the bubble help:
    onMouseover="showtip(this,event,'SS_BaseRule 642,0,0')".

    Shouldn't this be support through Silk though?

    You may have to drill down a bit further to a panel or frame layer to see it.

    There is no other frame in the Window:

    window BrowserChild BrowserChild1
    {
    tag "#1";
    parent SmartSignal;

    HtmlHeading LOG2 { tag "?LOG?[2]"; }
    }
    The mouseover is for HtmlHeading, and I tried GetChildren for the Heading as well.
