    Dynamic HTMLTable

    Hello!
    Wan't to seaarch for a cell/column with a specific value stored and then click a HTLMImage in another cell/column in the row found.
    Anybody out there having tips and or code examples.

    Yes, I do that all the time.

    1. Find the object that you know in a given column.

    2. Get the Index of that object (since I deal with HTMLLinks, the Index number is also always the row number.

    3. Go to the column you need, and then use the index number found in step 2.

    I have also done things where the item I wanted is always X number of links away, so I get the index then subtract X.

    This is helpful if you have a bunch of links labeled "Click Me". SilkTest doesn't know which one to click since they are all labeled the same. You need to use the Index value. But, you don't know which one to click on until you read some other "locator" and then go from there.

    Thank you. Finding an object and it's index and going to a column. Might come back soon with more questions but I'll do some digging. first.
