    Setting Break Points

Does anyone else have problems with setting break points in include files. Sometimes it will work fine and other times it will not. More often, it will not work.

It just gives a code is not executable message in the status bar and clearly it is executable.

    Re: Setting Break Points

    What version are you on?
What is the code you are trying to set a break point for?

I have not had any trouble with them in 5.03 and 5.5 sp1. I think they are somewhat of a pain to mess with. Very often I will use print to see where things go wrong.

Currently, 5.5 SP3. But I've always had this problem. We use classic 4Test as opposed to visual 4Test and I think this is the source of the problem. Only happens in .inc files. .t files are fine. Usually trying to debug a custom function.

I've seen it too in 5.5 SP1 and earlier. Try stopping debug mode, knock down the agent task, then try again.

Thanks John, I'll give that a try.
