    selecting application from add/remove program

    i want to access add/remove program items through silk 4tscript.

    through window declaration i am not able get add/remove program application.
    its capturing add/remove program application as InternetExplorer_server1.

    can anybody provide solution for this problem.

    This may provide a work around ...

    If you want the ability to un-install an application, you can use the registry to find the application and the command line used to un-install it.

    In the registry (W2K) HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uni nstall There will be a list of all the products that are in the uninstall list. Some are listed as the GUID in which you can look at the 'DisplayName' setting to determine the application. Each item should have an 'UnInstallString' with the command line that is required to un-install the product. Use this command with the SYS_EXEC function in Silktest and you should be able to unstall any application.
