Not able to click HtmlLink at run time.*******!

    Hello,
    I am doing porting of scripts from IE5.0 to IE6.0 & Netscape6 using silk5.5.3.
while using Netscape6, silk is unable to click a HtmlLink at run time however it gives me valid recording of the same link.
I tried co-ordinates method also..but does not work for me.
I am not facing this problem with IE6.0.

Not able to solve above prob.
If anybody knows the solution, plz reply..

    Thanks,
    Surekha.

Looks like you are using VO extention. Try treating this link as an HtmlImage or HtmlText and click on it see how do it goes.

    Thanks for the reply.

I am using Netscape6.0 DOM version since Silk5.5.3 doesn't support VO version & i have confirmed this at Segue technical support.
Any other suggestion would help me.

    Surekha.

Is it able to recognize the link at the runtime did you try using .Exists() method on the link and see if it recognizes the link before cliking on it. if it does not recognizes the link you will not be able to use the coordinates on the link object, instead you could use Browser.Click(1,5,5) or something. hope this helps

Re: Not able to click HtmlLink at run time.*******!

    Hi,

I tried your option & it works. silk identifies the link with exists() method but if i try click it using click() method, it clicks at some other location.
I am also able to find the link at run time using BrowserPage.GetLinks() method but not able to click at run time.
The coordinates method is also not working for me..

plz suggest me some other solution

    Surekha.
