Application Error when using the Record Class dialog
I am working on a client/server application written in VB5. I have SilkTest 5.5 (no service pack) working on NT4 (sp 5) workstation. From time to time I use the record class dialog to see how SilkTest is recognising the objects within my application. I have now got the attached error on a number of occasions, SilkTest crashes. This is not a major problem but it is an inconvenience. Has anyone seen this error before ??
Re: Application Error when using the Record Class dialog
You're probably pushing Silk too quickly; Service Pack 1 (and no doubt others since) included a number of enhancements and bug fixes for the recorder. It may be time for you to consider updating.
In the mean time you might try a suggestion posted recently by jamesso:
"Hold down the ctrl key while accessing the Recorder Option menu item under Options. This will give you access to a checkbox labeled "set cursor to hourglass when behind". When checked, the recorder will change the cursor to an hour glass when it isn't ready for you to perform an action yet."
