Problems with ODBC Driver for DB2 and SilkTest 5.5 FP3
we use DB2 V7.2 FP7 and have the problem that it isn't possible to get data from the DB.
The connect to the database functions but a simple select statement failes.
A test with Oracle and Access was also OK.
[-] testcase dbconnect()
[ ] HDATABASE hdbc
[ ] HSQL hstmnt
[ ] hdbc = DB_Connect ("DSN=Datenbank;UID=db2admin;PWD=db2admin;DBALIAS= ADRESSEN") //Connect is OK
[ ] hstmnt = DB_ExecuteSql (hdbc, "SELECT * FROM DATEN") // Error
[ ] DB_Disconnect (hdbc)
[-] Testcase dbconnect - 1 error
[ ] *** Error: (42S02) [IBM][CLI Driver][DB2/NT] SQL0204N "DB2ADMIN.DATEN" ist ein nicht definierter Name. SQLSTATE=42704
[ ] Occurred in DB_ExecuteSql
[ ] Called from dbconnect at odbc.t(5)
Has anybody an idea?
Re: Problems with ODBC Driver for DB2 and SilkTest 5.5 FP3
Well, the error message is being generated by the odbc driver, silktest is simply reporting this error (which it received) to you.
Try connecting through a different odbc client (e.g. odbctest) with the same logon information, and see if you get the same error.
