Command-line import into SQL 2000 from MDB file?

Does anyone know if there is a way to import data into an SQL 2000 database from an (MS Access) MDB file? Because it's for automated testing, I really need to do this via the command line.

    Hi there,

This can be done from Access 2000 I believe. Not sure about the doing this from the command line as I have never tried it. Good Luck.

    Cheers,
    Conor

If you're familiar with SQL Server's Data Transformation Services (DTS), you could write a DTS package and execute it from the command line with DTSRUN.

Or you could use SQL statements in a SilkTest script to take the data from one DB and insert it into another....

    James,
Long time no talk. We worked together at Fidelity Investments where we brought Segue (you) in to write the extension for the StingRay grid control. Must have been around 1995! Anyway, thanks for the tip!
