Silk5.5 ActiveX Extension Crash
We're using SilkTest 5.5, IE5.5 on Windows2000 Server.
Our App Under Test is web based, and has an ActiveX page that is downloaded and then run on the client PC.
We have found that when we check the ActiveX checkbox against the IE 5.5 extension in SilkTest (and do the same against the extension enabler), our ActiveX application crashes on shutdown. This happens even if we don't have SilkTest open.
However the crash does not occur if we disable the ActiveX extensions.
Does anyone have a solution to this problem?
Re: Silk5.5 ActiveX Extension Crash
If the Activex extension is enabled even if Silk test is not running QAPHooks.dll gets loaded each time AUT is started. and there is a problem in 5.5 SP2 but Segue claims to have fixed it in SP3. try upgrading to SP3.
