    Interview questions

I've used SilkTest before but it has been several months since I've used, what type of questions should I expect from an interviewer?

    Re: Interview questions

Well it all depends on how much time you have spent on the tool and what kind of work you have done.
I have often seen in interviews that the interviewer is likely to ask questions on topics which you tell him that you have been doin. So update yourself on the things that you did in past, also important is to know that recent changes and addititons to the tool, not all, but the important ones.

    Re: Interview questions

At a few places I've worked, we actually sat down the interview candidate in front of a machine with SilkTest, walked them through the frame, briefly described the application, then asked the candidate to either debug an existing script, or asked them to build a script over the next hour or so. The problems weren't hard, but they weren't trivial either. It gave us a chance to see the person in action, and get a feel for how comfortable they are with SilkTest.

I agree with Derek. This is the best kind of technical interview. Of course, someone could still write competent 4-test code and yet not fit well with the rest of the team.
