    How to record Java applications with applets?

    Would like to know how to record test cases on the web applications which contain applets.

    You need to read the section on the help docs on Java testing. It will help you get the system properly configured for this For an applet in a browser, you need to have your testing environment Java enabled and have the SilkTest_Java1.jar file in your classpath.

    Some of the issues I would consider would be:
    1. Class path settings
    2. Test Home, SilkTest Home and JDK Home settings
    3. Path:\ variables to find jar files
    4. Ensuring the Jar files supplied with Silk are loaded in your application compilation (*** This is very important ***)
    5. In the Extension Enabler, make sure,you create your application set (NEW)and enabled.

    I think once you have taken care of the 5 points as above, you are set.
