    Dual monitor support in SilkTest?

Does anyone know if SilkTest supports the dual-monitor feature in Windows 98 or the Matrox G400? I tried Segue support but the tech was clueless.

I have an app I'm testing that needs to run in fullscreen mode, making it difficult to debug.

Re: Dual monitor support in SilkTest?

I thought I'd never hear that one, but I guess I was wrong...

We had the same problem on Solaris with dual head systems. Silk can only see display 0 and not 1, this is an os restriction, but there is a workaround....

Run 2 Agents on on the regular display and another on a different port for the 2nd display. You have to treat them as 2 clients though, but at least it works...

I have not tried it on Win98 yet though... Be my guest

Re: Dual monitor support in SilkTest?

Ran into an odd one today, and I'm stunned that I've not seen this before, but we found a situation where the two monitors were not at the same resolution, and Silk was missing its menu clicks by a good 150 to 200 pixels. After troubleshooting for about 20 minutes, one of the team members reset the screen resolution to match that on monitor one, and suddenly the script ran flawlessly.

I've been using Silk for years on a dual head setup and have not had this happen. Has anyone else noticed a similar thing?

Re: Dual monitor support in SilkTest?

Note that I recall SilkTest could not see the expanded desktop (I'm using Win2K, IE DOM), but I placed the SilkTest app on that monitor and the AUT on the primary monitor and all is well...
