Using a variable in the use path field

Does anyone know of a way to use a system variable (for example) within the Use Path field located on the Runtime Options dialog? Basically I am looking for an easy way to distribute the *.opt file to my team without them having to edit it themselves (for their specific drive letter) each time they get a newly updated opt file and instead just have the drive letter pulled from an environment variable somewhere. Can this be done?

I tried using a regular system variable but Silk didn't seem to handle it properly.

Why not just come up with group standards? My group creates an X drive on any machine that is going to run the silktest host. You can do it with the subst command or by mapping a shared drive (even a local one). I know its not the answer you were looking for, but I figured I'd throw it out there anyway. Good luck.

Tom's solution is the best one. There is no easy way to do what you're asking.

Same here, we use a common drive.

Anpther option is the use of source control. We do not use OPT files, but make changes to the INI files and have them stored in source safe. We do the same thing with all of our scripts so the testers will always have the latest version of the scripts. (Use labeling or you can expect a big mess.)
