    Questions on Extension Enabler

I have some doubts on extension enabler. I am using SilkTest(ST) 5.5 SP2 for Web Applications.
    1. Whats the general/best practice, should I enable all IE 4.0, 5.0 and Netscape extensions as I need to test my app on all these browsers or should I enable individually when I do testing on that specific browser ?? I think ST docs says enable only 1 ??
    2. ST docs says if we are using IE 4.0 and IE 5.0 enable Active X. Why do we need Active X????

Can anyone please clarify my doubts??

    Thx...

    Re: Questions on Extension Enabler

Basically you don't want to activate too many extensions. If your web app uses ActiveX, then turn that on. If it uses Java, then turn that one on. It is rare to have both.

Enable all the extension you need externally. Then to actually use any extension use option set with in your plan file.
